NetJets

More than 55 years of leadership

While other companies come and go.

NetJets has been an industry leader for more than half a century. We invented the fractional aircraft ownership concept, perfecting it for a small fleet then gradually expanding it to the approximately 760 aircraft we own and operate today.

Our carefully managed growth has surpassed every other private operator many times over. There is literally nothing else like NetJets in the world. No other private flight provider comes close to our global reach, responsiveness, and commitment to safety.

Find out more about our heritage and what makes us extraordinary.

Leadership is defined by

Innovation

The complexity behind owner simplicity

We have a saying that “1,000 people touch every NetJets flight.” This is only a slight exaggeration. Owner Services Teams, operations specialists, pilots, maintenance experts and other aviation professionals work in concert to provide a seamless Owner experience, from flight request and ground transportation to departure and return.

COMPARE AND YOU’LL SEE. NO ONE ELSE COMES CLOSE.

One year. Extraordinary results.

What surprises our Owners most is how responsive, timely and attuned to their needs each flight is —considering just how many times we do it each year.

A Legendary

Heritage

Two decades after making an indelible mark in World War II, three retired military pilots set out to change the course of aviation history. In 1964, U.S. Air Force Generals Curtis LeMay and Paul Tibbets, with U.S. Army Air Corpsman Bruce Sundlun, established NetJets’ forerunner, Executive Jet Aviation, one of the world’s first aircraft management businesses.

In 1984, Richard Santulli purchased EJA, created the concept of fractional ownership (an industry first), and changed the company’s name to the one we use today. NetJets grew steadily as travelers discovered the advantages over the limitations of charter service and the challenging economics of whole aircraft ownership. We continued to add aircraft, facilities, and global programmes, while constantly seeking new ways to ensure the best safety and service for our Owners.

THE ULTIMATE ENDORSEMENT
Legendary investor Warren Buffett purchased his first NetJets share in 1995 and was so impressed with the service that he bought the company three years later, adding it to the Berkshire Hathaway empire. With Berkshire’s backing, NetJets has had unmatched resources to invest in whatever it takes to always be the best and safest player in the industry.

Today, NetJets continues to uniquely and expertly fill a crucial need: helping our Owners take care of what’s most important in their lives.
